About Us

Located in Preston and Blackpool, 4Tech is an education and training facility open to schools, organisations, and individuals, that delivers specialist vocational skills and qualifications. We believe that each learner has an individual path to follow no matter how long or short, and 4Tech can play a vital part in developing young people to overcome educational barriers and see themselves as a success, putting them firmly on the pathway to higher education, apprenticeships, and employment.  Our facilities are well equipped and offer a wide range of options for learners of all abilities and requirements to assist them in their best possible achievement and outcomes.

Working with mainstream schools, SEN schools, PRU’s, and local authorities, we specialise in delivering vocational training, education, intervention and enrichment programmes, and sensory workshops to both school children and post 16 learners.  We offer accredited courses in Automotive Repair & Maintenance and Construction, ranging from entry level to recognised industry status.  We also offer English and Maths (Functional Skills and GCSE delivery), and bespoke learning packages to suit any learners needs. 

The ethics of the company are that it endeavours to pass on as much of real-life working experience to all of the students that pass through its doors.  It is also important to note that quality above quantity will always prevail as many of the students appreciate and benefit from small bespoke groups, or even individual tuition.  All the staff that are employed at 4Tech have a decided interest in ‘putting back’ something and are prepared to go the extra mile to ensure a learner’s experience is worthwhile and relevant.  This is a pre-requisite for any prospective member of staff wishing to join the 4Tech Team.  Every staff member has professional experience and is an expert in their field, and the facilities that 4Tech offers are certainly in keeping with the area of expertise it offers.
